Materials and process: Porcelain slip and organic materials. She uses organic materials, such as paper and cotton, which she dips into porcelain slip and fires to cone 10. The organic material burns away leaving a husk.

 

About the artist: Danielle Corson is a ceramic artist from Regina, Sk. She has a BFA and BA from the U of R and is starting her MFA at Boise State in the fall of 2019. Corson has shown work at the Fifth Parallel Gallery and the Art Gallery of Thunder Bay.
